About the Author and Illustrator
Maia Toll is the author of The Wild Wisdom series which includes The Illustrated Herbiary, The Illustrated Bestiary, The Illustrated Crystallary, Maia Toll's Wild Wisdom Companion, and oracle card decks, box sets, and puzzles. Toll apprenticed with a traditional healer in Ireland, spending extensive time studying the growing cycles of plants, the alchemy of medicine making, and the psycho-spiritual aspects of healing—and studied at The University of Michigan and New York University. She leads the annual Witch Camp retreat, and is co-owner of the retail store Herbiary in Asheville, NC.
Kate O'Hara is an illustrator and artist. Her work combines intricate nature drawings with decorative hand-lettering and rich color schemes. She received a BFA in Illustration from the University of the Arts. Clients include Cirque Du Soleil, Crabtree & Evelyn, Serif & Affinity Designer, Hasbro Toys, and more. She is currently based in Reno, Nevada.

We've introduced international shipping to most locations worldwide! Keep in mind international costs are calculated directly from our shipping providers. Unfortunately we have no control over these costs.
SHIPPING TIME
Your order will be carefully packed and shipped within 1-2 business days with your choice of shipping type for shipping speed. Keep in mind busy seasons such as holidays may extend average ship times.
We do not have a brick and mortar retail location, but we do vend at shows around the country. Most of what’s available online is exclusive to this website and NOT sold where we vend! DAMAGED PRODUCTS
To help you make a good decision for your purchase, any products with known quality issues will have those issues noted in the product description and photos. Returns will not be accepted for products purchased with these disclosed issues.
Every order is shipped with tracking and insurance. If for some reason your order arrives damaged, simply email us pictures of both the package and damaged items to support@magickalbear.com within 24 hours of receiving it so we can file an insurance claim for you with the shipping company. After we get a determination from the insurance, we will happily refund you for any damages. We do not need the product shipped back.
RETURNS
We get it. Sometimes your order isn't exactly what you expected. Maybe the person you bought it for already has it and you can't think of anyone else to give it to. Stuff happens and we want you to be happy with your perfect purchase!
We will accept any returns in pre-shipped condition within 7 days of you receiving it. Please simply ship it back to us at the return address on the package label. Once we receive the item back in the same condition as we shipped it out to you we will issue you a full refund (minus shipping). You can also email us to give us a head's up so we can watch for the return. If you send it back with tracking info and give us the tracking number, we will issue your refund as soon as we see it has been picked up by the shipper.
REFUNDS
Once an order leaves our facility, it is out of our hands and in control of the shipping company. If we determine your order is lost in shipping (hey, it happens), we will refund it. However, if the item shows up as "Delivered" after refunding, we will request you either return the item to us or pay for it. Shippers can get overwhelmed during busy seasons and ship times can vary. Just because it hasn't shown up yet or tracking data hasn't been updated for several days during these times does NOT mean it's lost forever.
Unfortunately we are unable to issue any refunds for packages with tracking data that shows "Delivered" without a police report, even if you did not receive it. We recommend a video doorbell to make sure you know what happens to your packages if you're not home to receive them!
In the case of theft, please file a report with your local authorities and send us a copy. We will need that in order to apply for the insurance coverage and issue you a refund.
