About the Author and Illustrator
Deborah Blake is a Wiccan high priestess and leader of the eclectic group Blue Moon Circle. She manages the Artisans' Guild, a not-for-profit artists' cooperative shop, and works as a tarot reader and energy healer. Deborah is the author and cocreator of many books and decks, including Everyday Witch Tarot, Everyday Witchcraft, A Year and a Day of Everyday Witchcraft, and The Little Book of Cat Magic.
Elisabeth Alba's fantastical work can be seen in magazines, games, and books, including Llewellyn's Magical Almanacs. After growing up in Pennsylvania and Florida, and living in New York City where she earned a master's degree at the School of Visual Arts, Elisabeth settled in Western Massachusetts with her husband, illustrator Scott Murphy, and dog, Rayo. If she's not lost within a creation on her desk, she's usually found reading, checking out local antique shops and museums, playing board games and puzzles, or traveling. She usually works traditionally with ink, watercolor, and gouache.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Unfortunately, at this time we're only shipping to the continental USA.
SHIPPING TIME
We currently pack and ship orders on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This is to get weekend orders out as quickly as possible and to maximize our staff’s time.
We do not have a brick and mortar retail location, but we do vend at shows around the country. Note that most of what’s available online is exclusive to this website and NOT sold where we vend! If you have any questions at all, feel free to call, email, or fill out our Contact form.
DAMAGED PRODUCTS
To help you make a good decision for your purchase, any products with known quality issues will have those issues noted in the product description and photos. Returns will not be accepted for products knowingly purchased with these disclosed issues.
Every order is shipped with tracking and insurance. If for some reason your order arrives damaged, simply email us pictures of the package and damaged items at support@nerdvanaoutpost.com within 24 hours of receiving it so we can file an insurance claim for you with the shipping company. After we get a determination from the insurance, we will happily refund you for any damages and do not need the product shipped back.
RETURNS
We get it. Sometimes your order isn't exactly what you expected. Maybe the person you bought it for already has it and you can't think of anyone else to give it to. Stuff happens and we want you to be happy with your perfect purchase!
We will accept any returns within 7 days of you receiving it. Please simply ship it back to us at the return address on the package label. Once we receive the item back in the same condition as we shipped it out to you we will issue you a full refund (minus shipping). You can also email us to give us a head's up so we can watch for the return. If you send it back with tracking info and give us the tracking number, we will issue your refund as soon as we see it has been picked up by the shipper. Please ship with insurance in the amount of the package value just in case!
REFUNDS
Once an order leaves our facility, it is out of our hands and in control of the shipping company. If we determine your order is lost in shipping (hey, it happens), we will refund it. However, if the item shows up as "Delivered" after refunding, we will request you either return the item to us or pay for it. Shippers can get overwhelmed during busy seasons and ship times can vary. Just because it hasn't shown up yet or tracking data hasn't been updated for several days during these times, does NOT mean it's lost forever.
Unfortunately we are unable to issue any refunds for packages with tracking data that shows "Delivered," even if you did not receive it. We recommend a video doorbell to make sure you know what happens to your packages if you're not home to receive them!
In the case of theft, please file a report with your local authorities and send us a copy. We will need that in order to apply for the insurance coverage and issue you a refund.
