Understanding Auras

Have you ever felt really happy and noticed people smiling back at you? Or maybe you’ve been around someone who seemed upset, even though they didn’t say anything? That’s because we all have an energy field around us called an aura! Your aura is like a colorful cloud of energy that surrounds your body. It can change colors based on your feelings, health, and thoughts. Some people can see auras, while others can feel them. Let’s explore the different aura colors, how to sense them, and what they mean!

As we've established, an aura is an invisible energy field that surrounds every living thing—people, animals, and even plants! Your aura can be big or small, bright or dim, and it changes depending on your mood and health. Think of it like this, a happy person’s aura might shine bright and feel warm while a sad person’s aura might feel heavy and look dull.

Just like a rainbow, auras come in many colors with each color having a different meaning! Red represents strong energy, confidence, and passion. People who typically have a red aura are full of life and determination! Orange represents creativity and excitement. People with an orange aura are typically adventurous and love new experiences. Yellow tends to represent happiness, intelligence, and curiosity. If your aura is yellow, you probably have a bright, sunny personality! Green generally means healing, love, and balance. A green aura can also mean you are kind, caring, and connected to nature. Blue shows calmness, communication, and wisdom. People with blue auras are usually great at expressing their thoughts and feelings. Purple auras typically excel in the realms of spiritual awareness and intuition. This can imply that you are deeply connected to your inner wisdom. A pink aura shows love, kindness, and friendship. People with these auras are mainly loving and gentle. White tends to represent pure energy, peace, and protection. A white aura is rare and shows strong spiritual energy. Black or Gray are telling of stress, sadness, or exhaustion. A dark aura doesn’t always mean something bad, but it may mean you need rest and self-care.

Not everyone can see auras right away, but with practice, you can sense or even see them! There are two easy ways to try this, one by rubbing your hands together to create energy and another by looking in a mirror. You can feel auras with your hands by rubbing your hands together for a few seconds. Slowly start by moving them apart and back together again. You might feel warmth, tingling, or a soft energy between your hands—this is your aura! Then for the next one, stand in front of a mirror, preferably, with a plain white wall behind you. Look at the area around your head and shoulders and try not to stare too hard, you might see a faint glow or a hint of color around you! With practice, your ability to sense auras will grow stronger!

Your aura can change throughout the day depending on your mood, thoughts, and health. If you feel happy and excited, your aura may glow brightly! If you feel tired or upset, your aura might look darker or smaller. Taking care of yourself—through rest, positive thoughts, and spending time in nature can help keep your aura strong and bright!

Your aura is a beautiful reflection of who you are. It shows your energy, emotions, and even your health! By learning to sense auras, you can better understand yourself and others. Next time you meet someone, take a deep breath and see if you can feel their energy. What color do you think their aura is? And what does your aura say about you?
