Account Questions
Do you keep my credit card on file if I create an account?
Our site is heavily encrypted, so if you choose to save your credit card information in your account, it's actually saved on the Shop account (hosted by Shopify) and not our website. It's totally secure and many of our regular customers use this option to make checkout faster.
Can you save my billing and shipping info so I can check out faster next time?
Yes, this is an option when you make a purchase with us. Simply create a customer account at checkout and all your details will be password-protected!
How do I change my account information like my billing and shipping address, credit card, phone number...?
Simply login to your customer account and all your details are there and can be edited.
Can I create an account without buying anything?
Yep! You can create one by clicking here.
Shop
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express. We also offer Express payment options via Paypal, AmazonPay, ShopPay, GooglePay & MetaPay.
At our in-person pop-ups we also accept cash. We do not accept personal or cashiers checks.
Do you offer discounts or run sales?
We believe in the energetic exchange of what we have to offer for a fair price. We also believe that you energetically get what you pay for. Devalue our products and always want a deal? Then the impact they're meant to have in your life will be diminished.
While we may occasionally offer special sales, we don't run a discount store. If all you're looking for is a deal or cheap rocks and you don't value the quality and work we put into sourcing and creating the most unique products, then we're not a good fit for you.
Do I have to buy online or can I buy in person?
Right now our website is the only way to purchase from us. We may do some Instagram Live Sales in the future, and we will be starting to do pop-up in-person shops around the USA in Fall 2022, so stay tuned on our social medias for announcements about that.
Do you have a brick & mortar store?
Nope. Been there (3 times), done that (3 times), over it. :)
Shipping
How quickly do you ship?
We pack and ship all orders within 2-3 business days, with the exception of "Made-to-Order" items.
What shipping options do I have?
At checkout you're given may options for carrier and speed of shipping and may choose to upgrade your shipping. Currently we use USPS and UPS as carriers, as they've been the most economical and reliable for us. Carrier options may change without notice.
Keep in mind that "Made-to-Order" apparel only ships via standard shipping.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time we're working with our platform (Shopify) to easily ship internationally, but right now we only ship to the Continental USA.
Where do you ship from?
Right now we're shipping from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. However once we start traveling full-time we'll be shipping from wherever we're at. Keep up with our travels via our YouTube channel: An Unscripted & Magical Life!
I just placed my order, but realized I entered the wrong address... What do I do?
We get it as this happens! Please contact us right away and send us the correct address.
If your order is still in fulfillment and hasn't shipped yet, we'll get that address updated immediately.
If your order has already shipped, we will reach out to the carrier and see if we can add forwarding to it.
When does a Made-to-Order item ship?
Made-to-Order items are all made in the USA. Production typically takes anywhere from 3-6 business days and are shipped within 1-2 business days of completed production.
Total production + shipping time could take 1-3 weeks, depending on the time of year.
If I order something "Made-to-Order" and in-stock items, will they ship together?
If your order contains other items that are not Made-to-Order, those items will ship with our standard processing time of 2-3 business days. Your Made-to-Order item(s) will ship separately once production is complete.
Where's my package?
When you place an order with us and we fulfill it, you're immediately emailed a tracking number. Be sure to whitelist support@magickalbear.com in your email program so you receive your order confirmations and tracking information. Also check your SPAM.
If for some reason you still don't have it, feel free to chat with us here on our site, send us a message, or contact us via Facebook or Instagram so we can get you your tracking info.
My item says "Delivered" but I never received it...
Unfortunately once a package leaves our facility it's in the hands of the shipper and we have no control over it.
We recommend that you contact your local carrier (usually USPS or UPS) that the order was shipped through and ask them for the GPS data that it was indeed delivered. If they can prove it was delivered to the address you provided, you may have Porch Pirates and will need to file a police report.
In a few limited cases, it may show up as "Delivered" but actually not be received until the next day, so give it a day or so and see if it shows up.
My tracking information says "returned to sender." What do I do?
Please contact us so we can do an investigation. If it's being returned to us, we'll resend it as soon as it's delivered back to us, but we may need to ship it to another safe address. Don't worry, we'll work with you to make sure you receive it!
My order is missing items. What do I do?
Please contact us right away so we can get any missing items immediately shipped out to you!
Returns & Refunds
My beautiful crystal broke in shipping! What do I do?!?
We ship every order with insurance, so if for some reason yours arrived damaged, please email pictures of the package (box) and damaged items to support@magickalbear.com within 48 hours of receiving it. We will file the insurance claim on your behalf. Depending on the outcome of the insurance, we may be able to refund you for the damages after the claim has been processed.
Since we cannot resell damaged goods, you do not need to ship it back.
I ordered the wrong size... Can I get a free replacement?
We ensure our products are made in the size you request, so the short answer is, "No."
All "Made-to-Order" items are made custom for you. We have ensured multiple sizing charts on each of these products so you can measure yourself (or get the size from whomever you're purchasing it for) and order the correct size.
For our "Made-to-Order" jewelry, we expect you to accurately measure yourself (or get the correct size from your loved one).
I ordered the right size, but received the wrong size. Can I return it?
While we try hard to ensure this never happens, mistakes can occur. If this happened to you, we will gladly send you a Return label to return the original and send you a replacement.
If you decide you want to keep the originally shipped product, we'll send you a custom invoice with 20% off the replacement for your trouble. (Please do not order a new one as the discount won't appear.)
I got alllll the wrong things—not what I ordered!
Yikes! We try crazy hard to ensure you get only what you ordered. If for some reason there's a mix-up, simply contact us and we'll send you a return label and see about getting you a replacement (if possible) or we'll refund your purchase.
Refunds will be issued as soon as tracking data shows the shipper received the return package.
I dropped my crystal and it broke... will you replace it?
We're sorry, but we don't pay for negligence, accidents or downright stupidity. If your crystal is intact when it was received, there's nothing we can do.
We suggest breaking it apart and using it in a clear glass vase for pretty decor. The energy will still be there... just in a different form!
When you do start to ship internationally, how will returns work?
Most of the time what you ordered wouldn't be worth a return as you'd have to pay a high cost in shipping to send it back to us. Otherwise our standard Returns policies explained on this page will apply.
We ship everything with insurance, so if something arrived broken, please follow the "My beautiful crystal broke in shipping!" instructions above to help us file a claim.
My order was lost in shipping... Help!
We all remember the ClusterF of 2020 shipping and while these issues are not our fault or responsibility, they're not yours either and we understand that!
If your order is truly lost, we'll immediately refund it and file an insurance claim on your behalf.
However, if the items shows up as "Delivered" after a refund is issued, we do request your honesty and that you either return the item or we can invoice you with 10% off for the delay.
My order says "Delivered," but I never got it. Will you refund me?
Unfortunately we're unable to issue any refunds for packages you claim you may not have received if the tracking data shows "Delivered." We recommend a video doorbell to make sure you know what happens to your packages if you're not home to receive them!
My order shipped to the wrong address. Can I get a replacement or refund?
If you entered the wrong address in our system and didn't tell us about it, unfortunately there's nothing we can do unless the order is returned to us. Once it's returned, we can re-send it right away.
Keep in mind that once a package leaves our facility, we cannot be responsible or held liable for the actions of the shipping company.
If you entered the correct address and the shipper delivered it to the wrong one, you need to first contact your local carrier office and request the GPS delivery data. Once you have that, send it to us and we can work on filing an insurance claim. Depending on the outcome of that claim, we may be able to issue you a replacement, or a refund if the item cannot be replaced.
Since many of our items are one-of-a-kind, we may not be able to issue replacements if it's delivered to the wrong address and cannot be recovered.
Product Questions
What's "Made-to-Order"?
Made-to-order items are custom created just for YOU. That is, they're not created until you order them. This helps us manage our inventory to keep our costs reasonable, and also ensures any items with customization (such as custom-sized bracelets) are made with quality and not rushed.
Are your crystals ethically sourced?
This is a gray area. Anyone who says 100% they offer only ethically sourced crystals, yet some crystals they sell come from "unstable" parts of the world (such as the Middle East), can't completely guarantee they're ethically sourced.
We do our absolute best to only purchase from suppliers who either run the mines themselves or personally know the miners so we can ask the important questions and ensure the safety and fair pay of those miners. Mining is difficult on a good day, and we do our part to ensure only those mines deserving of our orders receives them.
That being said, we do sometimes purchase collections and cannot guarantee where those rocks originated from. It doesn't devalue the crystals at all, as they've already been created and have been out in the world for years. We don't believe in penalizing these stones for their origin when they deserve to shine and are here for a purpose.

What are your social medias?
Do you offer wholesale?
On most items we're direct-to-consumer. However, we're working on offering some of our made-in-house items wholesale. When we do launch our wholesale program, we plan to do so on the Faire platform.
Will you buy my rock collection?
Maybe! Contact us and tell us what you've got to start a conversation. Most of what we purchase is cabs for our jewelry products, spheres and towers, but we may be open to other minerals.
Keep in mind we are resellers, so we need margin. You won't receive eBay prices, but when we buy, we buy in bulk so you'll be able to offload a lot at once.
Can you help me identify a crystal?
Unfortunately some minerals are nearly impossible to identify via photos and even with video. When we identify our unknown crystals, they undergo several rigorous tests that can only be done in-person to ensure we get the proper identity.
We recommend you check out a local university with a Geology program or a local Mineral Club. They love getting their hands on "unknown rocks" and helping to solve the mystery!
Do you do gem appraisals?
At this time Kristen is working on getting her Gemology Certification and will be able to provide cut stone appraisals in the future. Keep an eye on this space for more details!
Where do you get your stone descriptions and meanings?
Being a Hibiscus Moon Certified Advanced Crystal Master and Certified Crystal Practitioner, Kristen writes all the descriptions on this website herself. She primarily uses The Book of Stones as her reference guide. If a stone isn't found in that text, she also refers to other trusted resources such as Gemstones of the World, Stone Medicine and The Ultimate Guide to Crystals. She also studies crystals herself in meditation and uses her intuition.
